5TH AND 6TH GRADE BASKETBALL GAME CHANGE:
Thursday, November 14, 2024, the 5th and 6th grade basketball teams will only play two games per the opposing teams request. Games will start at 4:30 PM with the 5/6th girls followed immediately by the boys game. Each game will have one additional quarter to allow additional playing time.

The Seiling Public School board meeting on Monday, November 11, 2024, was opened by two of the districts junior high students. Jonathan “Brick” Kindel graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. He received his commission through his alma mater in May of 2006 and shortly thereafter reported to Pensacola for initial flight training and then to Whiting Field to complete primary flight training. He completed his pilot training at Vance Air Force Base in Enid America, earning his wings of gold in January 2008.
His sea duty assignments include a tour with the Ironmen of Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron THREE (VQ-3) at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City where he served as division officer, aircraft commander, and mission commander; and the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN-72) ported in Newport News, Virginia while undergoing Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH), as an aircraft launch and recovery officer, or “shooter”, wardroom officer, and V3, V4, and V5 Division Officer in the Air Department, deploying in support of both the USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH (CVN 77) and USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN 75); concluding with the Shadows of Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron FOUR where he served as Safety, NATOPS and Maintenance Department Head.
LCDR Kindel’s shore assignments include Air Force Pilot Instructor Training at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio; a tour with the mighty Flying, Fighting Dragons of the 33rd Flight Training Squadron in Enid, Oklahoma as a Joint International Primary Pilot Training Instructor Pilot, Supervisor of Flying, and Assistant Naval Air Training Unit Operations Officer; Officer in Charge for Strategic Communications Wing ONE Detachment Offutt Air Force Base; NC3 (Nuclear Command, Communications and Control ) at United States Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, VA; concluding with Operations Officer (N3), Strategic Communications Wing ONE, Tinker AFB.
On June 30, 2022, LCDR Kindel concluded his active duty career in Norman, OK. He continued his flying career with Atlas Airlines, flying internationally on the Boeing 777. At present, Jonathan continues to slip the surly bonds of Earth while happily flying for Delta Airlines out of Atlanta, GA.
LCDR Kindel’s personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and various other service and unit awards.
