Seiling Public School would like to congratulate Senior, Aidan Biggs. Aidan has been named to one of the most elite academic groups among high school students throughout the nation. On September 11, 2024 Aidan Biggs, was officially announced as a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist. This is a very competitive program, over 1.3 million students out of 21,000 high schools entered the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program and only 16,000 make it to the semifinalist round. To become a semifinalist a student must be academically talented, taken the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test and scored well, have an outstanding academic record through high school, be an active participant in school and community activities, demonstrated leadership abilities, employment and honors and awards received. As Aidan moves on, to hopefully qualify as a finalist, he will be evaluated on his skill, accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies. Finalists will be named in April 2025. Congratulations Aidan, the staff and students at Seiling Public School are proud of your accomplishments and wishing you success in the finalist round.
Congratulations to these Seiling Choir students for being selected to the WOCDA Honor Choirs! Nayeli, Kylee, Madison and Haley were selected to the High School Honor Choir. Avery and Bethany were selected to the Junior High Honor Choir. They will rehearse and perform in October 21. Madison has earned her 3-year high school medal for being selected for three years to the high school honor choir.
